Dimensions Book Five: Demons is the fifth book in the Dimensions series. It is set in the same year as Book Three and Book Four, and follows directly on from the surprise ending of the latter. This book introduces the concept of Demons, a like-for-like adversary to the Angels who have only just begun to awake. Nonetheless, Taiki Araki, the first Demon, sets about on a path of genocide. Underneath it all, Rika comes to terms with her newfound discovery, and Henry has to make a decision to save the Digital World, in a way that he himself isn't sure of the morality of. Mari finally becomes a Tamer, but almost loses her life in the process, as well as that of her partner.

Faced with the reality of their threat and the consequences otherwise, Ryder is forced to make a terrible choice, one that he will end up paying very dearly for...
